we spent black friday soaking up the sun at the turtle wall and chuckawalla wall. a much more satisfying experience i'm sure. i finally red-pointed a few projects i've been working on, and watched as mike, beverlee and kaleb crushed it.

there is something to be said about the encouragement of friends.

friends; thankfulness

our best friends mike and beverlee braved the weather so we could have thanksgiving together. the boys cooked, beverlee cut, i commentated, all in a tiny motel kitchen. but, what it lacked in supplies, it made up in laughter.

i conclude that this is a holiday for friendships, card games, and men who can cook up a storm in a tiny oven.

in other news: i think we should be sponsored. my reasons and choices are as follows

1. arc'teryx: because we have so beautifully displayed their jackets for two seasons now, showing both form and function in all weathers. and they should be thankful.

2. olympus: because after falls off multiple cliffs, my picture quality is beginning to wan, and it is time for a new camera.
